[SUBW-A] Slide night + more..

Dear Bushwalkers,
First of all, a reminder about the slide night this Wednesday night (27th
May), from 7pm in the Common Room. For a map of Sydney Uni, see
http://db.auth.usyd.edu.au/directories/map/building.stm?ref=D08H15  (map
reference 14D). To find the Common Room enter the building directly from
Science Rd then go up the stairs which are to your right after walking
through the main door. For anyone keen to get a bite to eat beforehand, a
few of us usually meet at the Forest Lodge Hotel on Arundle St for dinner
from about 6.15 onwards.

As well as the usual business of slides/videos/food+drink, there is the
matter of electing a new club president which has been carried forward from
the March AGM. The position of president is open to anyone who holds a
current Sydney University Access card. Whilst the position doesn't require a
whole lot of work, it DOES look great on your CV, so it's worth giving some
thought. Basically it involves some occasional liaising with the student
union, making slide night room bookings and organising the Annual
President's Bludge Trip (PBT) over the October long weekend.

All Access card holders who come along this Wednesday night will have the
chance to win one of several lucky door mystery prizes.

In other news, the club has finally been allocated a suitable gear storage
space on campus. The storage space is one of several newly constructed club
storage spaces on the ground floor of the Manning building. The Union is
currently in the process of getting keys cut which should allow us access to
the new space within the next couple of weeks.
