G'day all,

In celebration of having a little bit of time off work I am planning
to spend a few days in the bush next weekend, heading out to Kanangra
Walls on Thurs night or early Fri morning and heading home on Sunday
afternoon. Exact timing / route is still fluid and if you are
interested in coming I am sure we could deliver some flexibility on
both of these. We are looking to do a decent length trip, but nothing
too strenuous (I would rather have time to enjoy the views and
investigate a few areas). The plan at the moment is to head out to
Cloudmaker then most likely down Ti Willa to the Kowmung via
Compagnoni Pass (although I am considering going out to Kooriekirra
Top, down Gentle's Pass). Camp on the Kowmung on Fri night. A bit of
river walking, a ridge climb if / when we get sick of the river, then
along Gingra Range. I wouldn't mind poping back down via Roots Ridge
and camping around Orange Bluff on Sat night. Then on Sunday up Brumby
Ridge back to Gingra and on to the cars.

As for transport, I am driving out from Penrith and have three free
seats in the car, so can pick up passengers from train or car to save
others fuel bills. Joshua is heading from Orange by road and also has
free seats if anyone is coming from that direction.

If you are interested in coming along just drop me an email or call me
on 0404 273 313. As I said we are fairly flexible on time and route.
Even on the trip we have the nasty habit of looking at a certain ridge
/ rocky outcrop / creek etc and changing the route to investigate. The
journey is far more important than the destination.
