*Blue Mountains** National Park*



We have received early advice re the following upcoming temporary closures





·         *Nature Track Circuit at Wentworth Falls*



The Western section of the Nature Track Circuit, between Valley of the
Waters track junction and Edinburgh Castle Rock (West Street) will be *
CLOSED* from *15 April to 1 May inclusive *(including weekends) to allow
construction work at Lillians Bridge. During this period, the full circuit
walk on the Nature Track will not be possible.



·         *Empress** Canyon at Wentworth Falls*



The Canyon will be *CLOSED* from *15 April to 1 May inclusive *(including
weekends) to allow construction work at Lillians Bridge.  For safety
reasons, access to the canyon is closed during this period.



·         *Valley of the Waters at Wentworth Falls*

The Valley of the Waters track will be *CLOSED* to allow helicopter
operations (weather permitting) on *Wed. 15 and Thurs. 16 April.* The
helicopter will be lifting construction material into the Lillians Bridge
worksite.

·         *Grand Canyon** Walking Track Circuit at Blackheath*



The walking track through Neates Glen, i.e. the upstream end of the Grand
Canyon Walking Track Circuit, will be *CLOSED * for upgrade work  *Monday to
Friday from 4 May 2009 to approx. December 2009.*



When Neates Glen is closed access to the Grand Canyon will be from Evans
Lookout only. Weather permitting, the full circuit will be open on weekends
and public holidays.



·         *Grand Canyon** at Blackheath*



Grand Canyon for canyoners will remain open. When Neates Glen is closed
access will be from Evans Lookout only.
