Wolgan Valley - Camping / Canyoning / Walking 21 and 22 March
Car camp at Newnes in the Wolgan Valley, Friday & Saturday nights.
 
Saturday - Starlight canyon - (Suitable for experienced abseilers).
 
Sunday - Walk the old coach road and glow worm tunnel with the option of a short canyon. (Suitable for people new to bush walking)
 
For those who don't want to canyon or want a later start on the Saturday, there is plenty of easy walking or exploring in the area including the old oil shale ruins in the Wolgan Valley.

 

The Wolgan Valley is to the west of the Blue mountains, North West of Lithgow about 3 hours from Sydney. (You will need a car or be able to arrange a lift with someone)
