Hi all,
Me again, more AAS comments. I've reviewed the abseiling AAS, and much of it
is the same as the Bushwalking AAS. The abseiling AAS is found here:
http://www.oric.org.au/AAS-NSW/DownloadDocs/abseiling_DRAFT1.pdf

Comments are due to the authors THIS WEEK, and I propose the following to be
our comments on the Abseiling AAS draft:

   1. We consider our comments on the Bushwalking AAS to be generally
applicable for the Abseiling AAS, where the same issues exist. Some specific
comments on the Abseiling AAS are shown below.
   2. We do not consider the Abseiling AAS as widely applicable for
activities where abseiling is not considered the primary activity – for
example wilderness bushwalking, and canyoning trips.
   3. Section 4.2 would benefit with the addition of ensuring that all loose
items, clothing, hair are secured safely.
   4. “Reduce trip hazards” should not be located within the environmental
   sustainability section (section 6.2).

If you could let me know any feedback, that would be great.

Cheers,
Mitchell
