Here is a new trip for the programme:

Kanangra Canyons.

We will do 1 canyon per day on each of the 3 days of the Australia Day long
weekend. The canyons will radiate out from a base camp somewhere on the
Kanangra plateau so only day packs will be carried on each day.

The first day is by far the hardest. People are welcome to join this trip
for days 2 and 3 if they don't want to do day 1.

Day 1, Sat 24 Jan: Danae Brook and Thurat Spires - very long day, strictly
for experienced and very fit canyoners. A long canyon with lots of abseils,
a long climb up and over Thurat Spires and a long bash through dense scrub
after that. Starting early and finishing late, a 12-14 hour very hard day. I
will limit this group to 4 people maximum and excellent fitness is
mandatory. You must be able to do a 12-14 hour day of full on effort without
running out of puff.

Additional people may join for days 2 and 3.

Day 2, Sat 25 Jan: Kalang Falls. Many long abseils. Much easier and shorter
than day 1. You still need to have had previous abseiling experience and
good fitness.

Day 3, Sun 26 Jan: Dione Dell. Some long abseils. Again a shorter and more
relaxed day. Similar prerequisites to day 2.
