*What: Beginner Overnight Walk 31st-1st June (this weekend)*

*Where:* Walk down Goolara Peak down to the Cox's  River, camp at the bottom
of Jenolan Gorge, then up Galong Creek.

*When:* Leaving Sydney Saturday (either Lewisham/Newtown or Sydney Uni) at ~
11am  or Strathfield Station ~ 11.20 - drive up to Blackheath - walk to camp
site - eat/drink/be merry/party/sleep - walk back up Galong Creek Sunday
Morning - arrive back in Sydney Sunday ~7pm.

*Who:* Anyone. Don't worry if you've never done an overnight walk before.
Why not start a new hobby? The club has gear you can borrow.  If you are
experienced, well, you're never too cool to enjoy  social walk.
*
What will you need?: *
Volleys are handy due to some rock scrambling and creek crossings. Light
sandshoes are otherwise fine.
Sleeping Bag
Sleeping mat
Tent
Head torch
Food (2 x lunches, 1x dinner, 1 x breakfast) - we will have a campfire for
cooking.
warm clothes
alcoholic beverages to keep you happy.

Let me know ASAP if you need to borrow any of the above gear (except alcohol
and food)

if you have a car or where you would like to meet us.
 I will forward more detailed information to those interested on Thursday
night.
