Hi
This coming weekend is the walk down the Coxs River. Some people will
probably be making their own way to the campsite. Others will want to
walk down with a group, and some of us intend to do a canyon first.
The canyon I will probably end up doing is Dalpura Canyon near the
Bell Rd - which is short and easy to do (it should only take 2-3
hours) - it has one abseil (about 4-5 metres) into a waist deep pool
- so no need for wetsuits. Others may end up doing other canyons
depending on who they walk down with. I know that some may want to
only do the canyon (eg Stacey and friend)
So please let me know -
1. if you are coming along
2. If yes, then do you want to do the canyon (and any gear you may need)
3. Can you offer a lift to anyone - or do you need a lift (and the
suburb where you live) - so I can try and organise transport
4. If you want to walk down by yourself or with a group
5. If you need any other gear - eg fly or tent space (or can offer
tent space)
There is an online map of the campsite location and access route -

(note that is has not yet been updated to this year)

So far the weather forecast for Sydney is - fine for Saurday (28) and
a shower or two for Sunday. The Blue Mts forecast will not come out
till later in the week.
