[SUBW-A] Joining Suboir United Bushwalkers Incorporated

Hi all,

As Suboir United Bushwalkers now officially exists, it is time to start
gathering memberships!

Currently, we are seeking membership applications, we are not yet ready to
accept your money, but will email you with details once our finances are set
up.

Membership is open to all, however if you have an access card, I highly
encourage you to join the Sydney University Bushwalkers (not incorporated)
instead of this one.

To join:

1. Read the attached Risk Waiver and Membership Application.
2. Complete the membership application (electronic is fine), and email it to
me, mitch at outdoorgenius.com, and, IMPORTANTLY, include the following text in
the body of your email:
"*I fully agree with the conditions stated in the membership application for
Suboir United Bushwalkers Incorporated, and would like to become a member. I
have read, understand, and agree with the Association's Risk Waiver, have
considered the risks, and still wish to participate in the activities of
Suboir United Bushwalkers Incorporated*."
3. We will then let you know how to pay once we know (the annual fee will be
$30).

By joining quickly you will enormously simplify the process of affiliation
and insurance with the Confederation for us. If there is a lot of delay,
then we will be forced to delay this for an extra month.

Also, congratulations to the new executive committee, who were elected
unopposed at the slide night last Wednesday:
President: Pete Harvey
Vice President: Norm Kelk
Secretary: Rachel Tania Melrose
Treasurer: Kate Lord

Other committe members were Roger Butler, James Bevan, and myself.
Louise DeBeuzeville was appointed our child protection officer.
