G'day walkers,

I'm putting together a walk on the Central Plateau in late January and
early February, starting at the Walls Of Jerusalem, with the ultimate*
objectives being the stunning Eldon Bluff and the elusive Eldon Peak
at the western edges of the Reserve.

* actually, "penultimate", in the sense that we will probably have to get
back to civilisation at some stage

This will be a ripper of a walk, in astounding surrounds, although it will
involve sections of real classic old-style scrub bash through some mean,
mean vegetation. You know that thousand-yard stare that people get when
they talk about the horrors of war, or the sandflies in New Zealand?
Expect a bit of that sort of stuff, except with scoparia and horizontal scrub
instead of, uh, conventional horror.

We're looking at about two weeks for the walk. Obviously you'll want to have
experience with extended off-off-off-track walking, and there'll be a few
training walks beforehand.

Get in touch if you're interested!

Cheers
tom
